WASHINGTON – With the second debate hours away, political analysts say the one way to provide American voters with a better choice in the upcoming election is simple: provide specifics.

Tuesday night’s event will pit the candidates directly up against questions by undecided voters in a town hall-style debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.

Host Jessica Jordan spoke with Justin Holmes, assistant professor of political science at the University of Northern Iowa; Thomas Mills, partner and principal of communications firm Bates & Mills Consulting; and Dr. Susan MacManus, distinguished professor of public administration at the University of South Florida, to discuss the most important points the two candidates might make in the debate.
