Quit pretending and pass the maps

I’m really over the redistricting stuff. I don’t want to see any more proposed maps. I don’t want any more speculation. I don’t want any more polls showing what people want or don’t want. I don’t want any more public hearings. I just want to see the maps.

This whole process is just sham. The Republicans controlling the legislature don’t care what the people think and Democrats have no influence. The GOP leadership is going to decide what the maps look like and then they are going to approve them. As Nike says, just do it.

We need more certainty as we head toward 2022. The March primary is in four and half months. Candidates need time to raise money and organize campaigns. Voters need time to figure out in which district they live. Maybe Republicans will move the primary to May.

With a number of announced candidates, donors need to know where to spend their money. For instance, Rep. Charles Graham has already announced his candidacy with a smart video and now has an active email program. He’s fundraising off of Dan Bishop’s right wing nuttery. Unfortunately, none of the maps available put Graham in Bishop’s district. Robeson, Graham’s home, won’t be in Bishop’s Mecklenburg-based 9th Congressional District according the four Congressional maps released yesterday.

The only thing that is certain in any of these maps is that House Speaker Tim Moore is going to get a District. The grift in Washington is far more profitable than the grift in North Carolina. I’m sure he’ll be a much richer man when he leaves Congress than he is right now. Maybe he’ll get a bridge named for himself.

So let’s get on with it. Republicans need to just pass their maps out of committee and quit pretending there’s anything going on here other than raw politics.

“So, no democrat will EVER BE ELECTED AGAIN so dangerous to freedom and Liberty they have become.” — Well folks, we need not waste any time supporting Democrats in their efforts to promote “truth, justice and the American way” and all that other stuff called for in the constitution. Republicans have us covered! Is there any chance this is a stab at humor?

Well maybe not ever again…However how about a long time, or until they come to their senses and reject ANTIFA, BLM, CRT, and Racism (which is a real problem with Democrats) etc.. and I don’t know…how about respect the American people and restrain themselves from trying to be everyone’s Mommy and Daddy even if they don’t want it, then get angry when they tell you clearly to push off.

Don’t try to pass a single bills that are larger than the entire federal budget. Do the hard work small bills clearly focused easy to understand. There is no hurry
Dump the stupid Climate change garbage, everyone sees right through it. Its not real ok. Really its not.
Stop the moronic “pass it to see what in it crap” It didn’t work last time, it won’t ever.
      Don’t destroy domestic industries.
Encourage them to come back so the people have a chance to make their way, a government check is no substitute
Don’t use endless regulation to make people lives more expensive, more complicated, and more difficult, and then insult them when they object.
Realize that they aren’t have never been, and never will be the smartest person in the room and stop getting mad when they stick their foot in their mouth (because what they have said or done is absurd because they DON’T know)
Admit when you are wrong. Fix it when you are.
Don’t tell people how to live, where to live what to use or when. leave them be.
Know you SERVE not RULE or GOVERN.
They are not royalty. Position means nothing. Its what you DO that counts

If they do this and of course be humble in stead of haughty. Maybe they will bring people back to them
I hope so because I used to vote democrat (split ticket really)

Now I can’t risk voting for a democrat The risk is too high.

I’ve not moved where did the democrats go?

You forgot, “Democrats need time to prepare their inevitable lawsuits.”

      Yep.
The best thing that can happen for everyone (Democrats included although they won’t admit it) Is for the Democrats to be in the political desert for 100 years while the purge themselves of the Marxists, socialists and progressives, BLM, ANTIFA and the Enire premise of Whitey bad, CRT stupidity and America bad ethos.

A nice long time out is needed so they can do some much needed cleansing and introspection Then hopefully they will get the idea that they are to SERVE the people and not RULE them. That the only job they have to enable circumstance where the PEOPLE HAVE A CHOICE THAT THEY ALONE MAKE in how they want to live their lives, Not the democrats.

If that ever happens and I am still alive maybe I’ll vote for a democrat again. But its not looking good.

I hope the Republicans make it so No democrat will EVER BE ELECTED AGAIN so dangerous to freedom and Liberty they have become.
