If there are plans to use federal officers at the polls in ways the law does not allow, or to send thugs into the halls of Congress after the vote, then we have to be ready. A nation stays free only when its people keep their eyes open and vote. And it is worth remembering this: GOP gerrymandering has no place in a U.S. Senate race. Senators are chosen by the whole state.

Roy Cooper is a good, and Honorable Man. I hope the people across this State that I love will send him to the Senate.
