Tillis has been a colossal fool to follow the Tangerine Toddler. So glad to see him go. Now we have to get Cooper elected.

Thanks, Tom. More bullshit to add to your mountainous pile of poop for the people!

Tillis has the spine of a jellyfish. But I didn’t expect him to do the right thing and sure enough, my expectations were met. If our state first turn his bloody red seat blue with Roy Cooper, we can chalk us up as completely bamboozled. Rapublicans have done nothing good for NC since they took over.

Oh, is it T.A.C.O. time again? Tillis Always Chickens Out. Just like his Dear Leader.

no “profiles in courage” for you, tommie. once a coward, always a coward.

Not surprised he caved at all. Pathetic

Of course Tillis did the wrong again. I’m not surprised at all. This is typical Tillis behavior. Like Susan Collins, he’ll make some noises about being concerned and do the opposite every. single. time. Both Tillis and Cornyn are cowards!

Tillis is and always has been a sycophant. He's unimportant. He destroyed the integrity of the military with his decision to vote for Hegseth. He will be remembered as a minor political figure. The naïveté of thinking that Tillis and Cornyn could negotiate a written agreement with Blanche and Trump is so clear. Of course Trump would never abide by a written agreement. He simply does not believe in the rule of law!

What else is new? Tillis is putting feeding and taking care of himself and his family ahead of the good of the country

If we get a blue senate and house can they reverse the deal and audit trump.

DisapPOINTed! I encouraged Tillis to use the vote against Blanche as his historic f-you to the regime (well, I used different words). But he had to show his true colors—yellow, and RED—which is how all of their faces will be one day after they wake up.

We may be "woke" but they are catatonic!

Why am I not surprised? Every single time I started to believe that Tillis might be changing, might be growing a back bone, might actually be standing up to the raging insanity of Trump and the Republican party...he has let me down. I have, at times, thought that he was a good man but now the only good I can say about him is "good riddance".

Could not agree with you more. Deal breaker should have been the IRS immunity agreement and many other things. Can’t wait til he is out of office and we see what he has negotiated for himself once tgat stage of his life is over

Tillis's actions, always making a big show of going up against Trump, but always caving to whatever corrupt scheme Trump and the GOP has going, only makes sense if Tills thinks he can run again after Trump is gone or he's on the take. Or both.

Very disappointing. Strange behavior. Is he dense, a fraud, something else?

Kathleen Lohr's avatar

Fraud. Not dense at all. Probably got paid alot for this behavior, too!

That phrase should stick!
