Texas & California is not the same! Newsome is letting the citizens to decide with prop 50 about redistricting! Since 2010 with operation red line, Republicans have been cheating with maps. We no longer have a GOP of John McCain! Our state Republicans are paid for by billionaires & corporations as they help Trump succeed with his fascist, autocratic, Narcissistic, criminal regime! We the people pick our elected officials. They now think that they pick us. Wake up! It's disgusting! Did anyone see the speech from NC state senator, democrat on the floor which was awsome & truthful?! Republicans voted to keep that OUT of the state record.
Republicans gerrymandered before 2024 election! They can't win with policy, truth or with out cheating. We lost 3 democrat US house seats because of that gerrymandering.

However ANYONE who wants DEMOCRACY, not TYRANNY can and must do something !!! I like to put my boots on the ground to canvass, work on phone banks and write postcards. I don’t just make one contact with folks right before an election — I contact monthly. After asking if I can keep in touch with a household, if the answer is yes, I ask which they prefer: visiting, calling, texting or writing. Why? — because I care.
1.The NC redistricting is a racial gerrymander which means that a state that is truly 50-50 has disenfranchised the Black vote.
2.The main thing is that we are living under authoritarianism which is why the regime can call for redistricting for partisan purposes to: prevent accountability for crimes committed by the president & his enablers; for the destruction of the economy to benefit billionaires & foreign countries; the undermining of representative democracy.
The extreme wealth gap translates into the loss of health care for millions, threat to social security, killing public education, destruction of civil rights & the New Deal social safety net.
Bulldozing the WH is a literal demonstration of the destruction of democracy not just about the a building. Dictators build monuments to themselves to tell the story they want the people to believe. It IS important that Democrats tie this to kitchen table issues.#savedemocracy #stopchaoscriminals
