It is hard to know what Mr. Robinson was thinking in forging his public persona but we can imagine that, like others who have followed in Trump's footsteps, he thought he could grab some of Trump's teflon magic. Or it may be that we have overestimated Mr. Robinson's ambitions. He may well count himself ahead to leave the race with a nut of social capital he can expand on. Dancing with the stars anyone?
Not only is he a big mouthed idiot, he would be a terrible governor. If there was a disaster like a big hurricane he couldn’t manage the recovery. He would screw up a two car funeral. In all the culture war crap people forget that they need someone who can actually do the job.
An arrogant homophobic, anti-Semetic, misogynistic LOSER - and a FRAUDSTER who thinks he's above the law to boot!! Check out this article which covers both his political AND legal difficulties.
Mo will be great, but we can't take anything for granted! Michelle Morrow shouldn't be running but she joins most of the R candidates who are aren't qualified to do so. The R's extreme gerrymandering can easily put these people in office. VOTE!
I agree!! Please remind everyone you know to vote the ENTIRE ticket including all down ballot races!! Dems are really bad about that, which is how we have a GOP Commisioner of Public Education and GOP majority on the NC Supreme Court!!
Tell all your friends - I have been forwarding the past columns from this substack about Morrow to all my friends here in the state. I do the same for Mark Robinson, but it is Morrow that gets the " I hadn't heard that!" response vs. "yeah, isn't he awful?" for Robinson. I'm also currently writing Postcards for Mo Green to be mailed in October. Check out his website for volunteer activities:
If you have the time and live in NC, please consider volunteering as a poll greeter with your county Democratic party or you can voluteer specifically with his campaign.
I took several shifts at my neighborhood early-voting location for the Nov 2023 municipal election here in Mecklenburg County. The Meck Dems had endorsed a slate of 3 people running for the 3 at large school board seats and created a "blue ballot". School board Is a non-partisan race and we had 13 candidates running for the 3 open seats including a trio of "Moms for Liberty' type who were running together but not advertising their Mom's for Liberty connection. We were also promoting the school bond issue (which was targeting inadequate facilities in the district). FYI, I also did literature drops to Democrats in my neighborhood with a flyer about early voting, the races, and more info on the school bond issue.
I'm pleased to say that the work paid off. The endorsed school board candidates won their races and we passed the much-needed bond package. And in the northern part of the county, Hunterville elected a Democratic Mayor and 6 Democrats for their Board of Commissioners. This is technically a non-partisan race (no Ds or Rs next to the candidates names) , but in the prior election cycle they elected a GOP mayor and the Board was 5R and 1D.
Yes, vote Blue all the way down! Thanks, too, for the reminder about volunteering at the polls. I would really like to volunteer General Election Day, but cannot do the 14 hour day. I keep forgetting about Early Voting where shifts can be signed up for and I will try to do this.
People haven't been tuning in and the polling system is pretty broken!
I take all poll results with a large grain of salt. I do pay attention to 2 things: (1) the trend line when a polling group runs pretty much the same poll every couple of week or each month; (2) how "down ballot" candidates are polling against the "top of the ticket" in the same time period (e.g., Stein was polling better than Biden before Biden withdrew from the race).

What a loser! I am so thankful that people see through him and his lies! WEIRDO!
And Mark Robinson is a loser.

Absolutely. Now how about commenting on Michelle Morrow. We don't need her in office either
More Green will easily win

The guy is such a clown and a phony. I can’t wait to be done with him and the rest of them.
Well said 👍🏼
How can we be beating this clown by single digits? I would expect to have a lead in the mid teens..
