Thomas,

What percentage of the left are we talking about? We don't live in a perfect world in which everyone gets everything they want. Sitting out the vote because Biden isn't perfect in your eyes may mean the end to democracy as we know it.

In what other swing states might the far left play a critical role? AZ, WS, PA, GA, OH, NV? Are they a significant force in NC? I tend to think not.

That does it! You've convinced me to vote the Republican ticket from top to bottom.

If the Democrat Party writ large embraced this sentiment I'd be a genuine swing voter.

I do think there is some legitimacy to the frustration of Arab Americans -- former Biden voters -- outraged by the slaughter in Gaza. I hope plans of the Gulf States and the US to create a Palestinian State in Gaza and the West Bank will come to fruition. Otherwise, Arab Americans may sit home and not vote for Biden. In Michigan, this could mean Biden loses the state. Granted, this may require Israel's ouster of Netanyahu.

Right on. Power to the People!

I must get another phrase to express when Mills of PoliticsNC nails it. My “straight up, no chaser” sounds trite to me now. How about just simple, Bull’s Eye. Or way to toss the dart 🎯. As a word monger I sure do like it when a writer or speaker uses the verb “conflate” in a context where only this verb can do the verb work. If Mills got this post on a first draft—which would not surprise me—I say “hell yeah.”
