Add to that last paragraph “When it come to a choice between voting for the interests of North Carolinians and voting for the interests of his paymasters, he’ll vote with the money every time” and you’ve got the basic formula for an entire ad campaign. Tillis has certainly given plenty of examples to back it all up.

Look up Wiley Nickel's ad if you can. I'm not sure if its' out yet, but he's really going to be attacking Tillis.

I’ve only seen one ad for and one against so far. The Against looked like it was put together by VoteVets, and the fact that they focused on veterans issues and Tillis’s lack of a spine (complete with x-ray to substantiate the lack of said spine) makes me think it was theirs, but I haven’t been able to find it online since I saw it during a Canes game. The For ad touts Tillis as a savior for seniors. Which as a very-nearly-official senior (Sunday after next) I can assure you was BS.

I appreciate you keeping the heat on under Tillis. It’s all so true.

You are the Thom Tillis crucifier and I'm damn glad you are. I pray for NC's sake Roy Cooper will run against him in '26! I've come to rely on your tight angry annalysis to feed my active contempt of Trump 2.o

I can't watch national news like MSNBC b/c the left leaning angst is too cloying to tolerate. Your brand of informed outrage is utterly satisfying, Thomas. I know I speak for other readers: keep it up!

Agree. Anxiously hoping to see Roy Cooper run against him for this seat.

Rumor has it that the White House is on the hunt for a new Secretary of Defense. Seems like Trump might need to roll up his sleeves, head to a DC bar, and scout for someone with a colorful past—a washed-up troublemaker with experience in Girl Scout cookie sales or pinch-hitting for Fox News reporters

He could have stopped it. The rest who supported are just bad bad though. If they hadn’t voted for. He wouldn’t have been the deciding vote m?

I have been so furious at Tillis for exactly what you say, spineless and will always give up his feigned plan to stand up to Trump and then the ultimate folding to it. He loves his position in the senate much more than he loves his constituents. It is outrageous. Just try it, write a letter to him with the reaons why someone should not be approved or appointed or a bill to not support and you will get a letter supposedly doing the right thing and then...yup spineless.
