I hope you're wrong about Cooper's margin of victory, not because I think you're wrong about very much, but because, well, you know, we just want to make a point!
I believe ante Trump forces are building. I expect Democrats to perform well nationwide. Many voters appear tired of the chaos, the scandals, and the constant political drama. Whether that frustration is enough to produce a wave election remains to be seen, but dismissing the possibility because of an assumed ceiling may be a mistake.
Trafalgar predicted a "red wave" in 2022. The firm missed Senate race outcomes by an average of 7.5 points. That's a lot. Using their polling to show this race tightening, unless they have corrected their weighting, is indeed misleading. They are not on the NYT's list of select pollsters for good reason.
Seven percent is the Half Stein I’ve been calling since the race started. While I’d LOVE to see a Full Stein, I think in order to win by 15% you have to be running against Mark Robinson.
Though Michelle Morrow might make a suitable substitute.🤣

I’ve never thought a double digit lead for Cooper would hold. Yes turnout is the key, especially for the four court races
Trafalgar? Are you kidding. Notoriously Republican biased, if not deceptive.
The key races at this point are the Legislature. There is a decent shot to win the House, and conceivably even the Senate. We have to work hard.
