No one says the voters in any district must vote a certain way based on past voting record, affiliation or race or gender or economic status. Let’s work to make that strategy backfire if a court challenge doesn’t stop this nonsense

Gerrymandering is voter suppression. The point of gerrymandering is to nullify our votes to where it’s almost impossible to vote our way back into a democracy.

I understand this and don’t support gerrymandering but at the end of the day the only thing the average citizen has is the vote. And we can’t give up even in districts that are gerrymandered. That was my point. And voting patterns can change.

Your disappointment in Republicans is poitively quaint.

Ever since the Powell memo laid out a plan for replacing democracy with one party rule and democraphics made the GOP decision to be the party of White folks untenable, the GOP has had but one goal; destroy democracy in the US. That is what we are dealing with, not some errant Republivcan schmucks, they are true, dedicated subversives.

As I’ve said here and elsewhere many times, the only way to break a gerrymander is to go into the gerrymandered districts and WIN. Because only a majority gets to make the rules. And we are not ever going to have better chance than right now. I’m not saying it’s a good chance now, just that it won’t get any better. And honestly, it might actually BE a better chance now. There’s a LOT of Republican policy thats hugely unpopular. And if the messaging makes it okay — gives the Republican voter permission to break ranks with the party apparatus — they can probably be convinced. If you present it as “Phil Berger and Destin Hall figure they’ve got your vote anyway, even if they throw you under ht bus in favor of the rich patrons. Which is exactly what they’ve done. But guess what? You have a chance to return the favor. But only if you decide to do it — and do it soon.”

The Guardians of Pedophiles (GOP) are the very worst people “leading” our government, so it’s not surprising that the young in the GOP are following in their footsteps. I weep for the future.

If you support the GOP you support racism and misogyny. Trump has made it acceptable. He has told MAGA that they won't have to vote again. MAGA sees that the GOP is disenfranchising Black and Brown voters, but they either haven't realized or don't care that the GOP is also disenfranchising White voters.

We actually have more than just the vote. Starting this Saturday all over again. Plus, we the doxx power - use an anonymizer on your browser - and apply it to all the young Republicans and work your way up the slimey food chain.

Yes indeed. These are the values Republicans now hold. They can say they are "not like this" but the ones saying that are not in charge and they know it. Trump has spent his entire political career posing a simple test of morality, democracy, commitment to the rule of law, and yes commitment to Christian rules. Republicans have enthusiastically failed time and time again.

We've seen the Young Republicans text messages. Now, it would not surprise me to see leaked photos of the entire NC GOP all decked out in their Klan robes.

Keep thinking gerrymandering is the issue. This is exactly why democrats continue to lose. Winning takes actually convincing voters the Democrat’s platform is better. It takes hard work which the party obviously hasn’t done and appears that approach will continue. Stop whining and get to work.

Is the problem that members of Republican-MAGA Party don't care? Or, is the problem that members of Republican-MAGA Party don't know? I am convinced it is the latter. Fix that problem and fix the problem. I do not know how to fix the problem.
