Thomas, do you have insights onto why we’re not yet seeing any (positive) Dem Lt Gov ads? I saw an ad over the weekend against Robinson and the R candidate for Lt. Gov (about their hard line abortion positions). Not much else, though.

I thankfully think that Rachel is so far ahead she doesn’t have to buy a lot of ads. She is ahead because of her truly grassroots campaign. She’s winning because she’s built a ‘meet the people’ campaign. She’s walked her talk, and she’s going to win. Just like her famous father!

I sense it feels good to "pen" this. As a reader, I'm getting a kick out of the tone. And there is a sentence that when I read it, makes me chuckle--last sentence in paragraph five: "Maybe he will largely be forgotten by election." The way the adverb "largely" splits the verb "will be." Which as a verb can be both auxiliary and a modal. And then the next paragraph begins, "Nah." The adverb could have been "mostly." But "largely" works better. As in this is "huge."

Apparently the Burkman rumor is just his typical BS, Bill Kristol says that Robinson's campaign, what's left of it, says that it's not true. One of my favorite Robinson stories is the one where his wife gave the Girl Scouts a 2023 bad check for $2,956.03 and the court have issued a judgement for that, plus legal fees.
