For Harris to win North Carolina Anderson Clayton, NC Democratic Party Chairperson, must have a good organizational ground game in all 100 counties. I'll grant you this, presidential election will be close here. It's the Council of State races from Lt Gov down through Superintendent of Public Instruction and Allison Riggs Supreme Court race I am most concerned about. A WRAL poll shows Mo Green only two points ahead of Michelle Morrow and that's too close for comfort for our public schools. It would also be nice if the General Assembly had a few less Republicans as the GOP in BOTH chambers needs some humility.
