McConnell never had any principles to begin with - I do not consider win at any cost a principle!!
I've said it before and I will no doubt say it again, but if it weren't for double standards, most Republicans would have NO STANDARDS whatsoever.
I also want to make your readers aware of an upcoming event promoting NC grassroots organizations:
The email came from Senate Circle, but it is also being sponsored by Jessica Craven (Chop Wood, Carry Water) and All In for NC amongst others. I know it is a ways out (Aug 6), but I wanted to mention it while it was top of mind (or at least near the top of my email inbox!!)
From the email I received:
We are highlighting four political organizations in North Carolina who plan to send out canvassers to knock on four million doors. Wow. Those of us who have done the hard work of canvassing realize not only what a huge number that is, but how powerful those face-to-face conversations can be in changing minds and building votes.
Join us as we hear from leaders of these groups about the logistics of this massive effort. More details on Down Home North Carolina (whom we have hosted previously), Siembra NC, North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT), and Carolina Federation are on the ActBlue page.
