Violence works. That’s been my experience and it’s never not been true. If you’re unwilling to use violence to protect yourself, your family and the Constitution very bad things will happen to you. Violence worked as a form of self defense when I went to Faisun Middle School. It worked well. I used violence at Episcopal High School and it worked well. I terrified the bad guys. A gang of them surrounded me and beat me with lacrosse sticks. I caught them alone and used a baseball bat on them. I bit them, too. Of course I used violence in the Navy. Violence stops violence if you’re willing to be utterly ruthless. Go at them with the intention of harming them physically as much as you can. Bite them, blind them, break their bones. I’d also recommend buying firearms and learn how to use them well. Learn how to use knives and use them. Crossbows are quiet and deadly, hard to use though, so practice. I have a throwing ax and throwing knives. We’re in a civil war, early in it, but we’re in one. There’s a type of fighting called Fairbairn-Sykes, also a dagger by the same name. There are manuals for Fairbairn-Sykes type fighting. It’s basically street fighting. You have to take your country back.

Trump and his supporters are terrorists. They’re not going to stop until someone stops them. I’ve got no faith that they will allow free and fair elections. Russia helped Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024. If you’ve been watching, reading and listening to the news you’ll see the Trump administration is blatantly breaking the law and ignoring judicial orders. We don’t have a judicial police that’s responsible for enforcing court orders. I don’t think you can count on convincing 50% of Americans to vote against Trump but looking at what I’m seeing Trump and the Russians will allow anymore free and fair elections. I’ve spent a lot of time in Europe and the Middle East and North Africa. I don’t think the American version of Christianity is much different from fundamentalist Islam. I’m not aware of any Muslim terrorists who were convinced to change their beliefs. Also Americans are the least educated people I’ve ever been around. They also lack critical thinking skills. I grew up in a little town in North Carolina and those people are proud of being uneducated and I’ll call it what it is they’re proud of being stupid. I live in a small town in Tennessee now and the people here are stupid, uneducated, vicious and proud of it.

We have different experiences with violence. Escalating the violence has always worked for me in the long term. Most people, regardless of how tough they think they are will shy away from someone who’s more violent than they are. Police and military are entirely different animals. I was an Arabic linguist and Middle East/North African area analyst and tactical planner. I worked counter terror.

FETZER, I am not trying to play the "I can top that game" with you. I am just trying point out the downside to Violence which inevitably leads to physical injury and pain. Historically , it might compel someone to act in a certain way; it will not change their inner thoughts. We need to play a long game.

Our aim is to convince approximately 49% of voters that Trump and his associates are not acting in their best interest. Trump has unintentionally provided us with ample evidence to support this approach. He has started an unnecessary trade war with Canada and several other countries, which will effect employment and savings accounts, insulted the president of Ukraine, and undermined crucial safety nets like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, which enable people to retire and live with dignity.

It will not be long before Trump's supporters feel the adverse effects of these reckless actions. Resorting to violence would make us no better than Trump. We must remain responsible. Our task is to elect strong candidates for over four hundred seats in the House and more than thirty in the Senate available in November 2026.

Once we accomplish this, Trump and his allies will be outdated, and we can focus on restoring common sense and respect for the Constitution and government. Hopefully, the courts can prevent him from causing too much damage before November.

Have you ever been beaten with lacrosse sticks by 5 or 6 guys? Do you think asking politely would have stopped them? Have you ever been beaten up with fists by three guys who were a lot bigger and stronger you. Asking and being nice don’t work. Smashing them in the face does. When I was in the Navy and the ships I was on were being shot at do you really think anything short of shooting back, calling in an airstrike or torpedoing the other ship was going to make them surrender. I disagree with you strongly. A lot of the 1/6 terrorists that Trump pardoned have already committed felonies. Is it your opinion that they would have stopped being terrorists and committing felonies if they hadn’t been punished at all? The evidence doesn’t show that to be the case. You can do your own homework and see for yourself.

Fetzer, while working as a police officer in Southern California and attending law school, I experienced the LA Riots firsthand, facing rocks, bottles, and gunfire. Despite my familiarity with violence, I have learned that it does not yield long-term results. Sun Tzu's The Art of War emphasizes strategy, planning, deception, and understanding of the enemy over direct confrontation. This approach minimizes conflict and maximizes efficiency, aiming to restore faith in our constitution and government.

It is important to note that Trump often reveals his intentions and plans before executing them, making him easy to counter. Our focus should be on identifying and supporting strong candidates for the House and Senate seats. Trump provides us with ample material to defeat him and his little band of self-serving politicians.

For the record, when Trump pardoned those 1/6 insurrectionists he lost the vote of many police officers. There is no excuse for these thugs or their actions nor the person or persons who set them in motion.

GOT TO DISAGREE- and here is why: Using violence can undermine our efforts and make it hard to justify our actions, causing us to lose support from neutral parties. It's essential to win over unaffiliated and disillusioned Republicans. According to recent polls, we are on track to achieve this goal.

Currently, Trump has failed to improve the economy and reassure people that we are not heading towards a major recession. His appointees show significant analytical deficiencies. For instance, the head of Health and Human Services believes molasses can treat measles, struggles to complete sentences, and is cutting funding for cancer and Alzheimer's research.

His UN-elected co-president is on track to destroy Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid without any controls or oversight being imposed on him. Trump will be remembered in history as this nations worst president. Turning the White House lawn into a car lot and selling crypto coins out the back door is an insult to our country.

Trapping off the leader of a country fighting Putin’s attempts to suppress democracy raises significant questions about Trump’s loyalty to this country. Any one of these issues might be insignificant on its own but taken together by a disillusioned Trump supporters that lost their job, due to an unnecessary trade war, seen their 401K drop in value, or lost a family member to preventable diseases can have a devastating effect. I am optimistic about the midterms. If Democrats take back the House and Senate, there is little doubt Trump will be on his way to a third impeachment. When he goes, so goes his band of near-do-wells and losers.

Thank you for your reporting on this issue. Also the Trump Admin has blatantly disregarded courts orders. And the threat to our Republic grows. And with it, the threat of political violence.

Griffin's just another lying MAGA that works to impair NC's democracy. I don't believe anything he says. He's trolling for sympathetic donations.

Thomas, I'm one of those voters whose vote was challenged by Griffin. It makes me furious. My local BOE says that I am a properly registered voter. We can't let Griffin's tactic succeed!
