With Kennedy, Gabbard and Patel appearing before senate committees this week, knowing that all 3 are unfit, unqualified and dangerous, how will our NC senators Tillis and Budd vote? In his first few days as Secretary of Defense, we are seeing Hegseth politicizing the Department of Defense. Thanks, Thom Tillis. Elections have consequences. 2026 is the year we will decrease the republican majority in the senate by one seat, replacing Tillis with a Democrat.

33 senator up in 2026; 20 Republicans & 13 Democrats. I like our chances especially if the Gov runs against him.

Hopefully, rumors that Governor Cooper will jump into the race will prove true. He's demonstrated that he can win statewide office.

Even better, if he can/does run, that he is honest and ethical -- the antitheses of Thom Tillis and essentially all of the GOP in North Carolina! I lived there for a long time, and Tillis was a real nemesis to many of his "constituents."

Very true AND very important. But I have been frustrated for years that we keep nominating Dems to run for the US Senate who end up losing!!

We don’t have to wonder how they will vote, upon emailing both of them to vote against the nominees, form letter responses received that they are on board with “draining the swamp” going back to #45’s verbiage. We must elect a Dem senator in 2026. I hope the Republicans primary Tillis!

I hate to think how much damage will be done as we wait 2 years for the next election. 😥 😡
